This was the only thing I use to study for my LPN and I passed!!!!! with a minimum of 85 questions I only did the practice questions in the back of the chapter. I did not read the whole book and I did a couple of the online practice test through the book. I studied for a week and a half and prayed like crazy to God !!! So in a nut shell I really liked this book and would recommend it to everyone.

There is no reason you shouldn't pass the NCLEX PN if you read this book from front to back. I passed with 85 Qs :-) Unfortunately because of limited time, I was only able to read the first 33 chapters. For the last 2 weeks before my exam, I just did the online questions. This helped because the rationales are very detailed. You get a mini lesson in each question. To save a lot of stress, I recommend reading this while in nursing school because the detailed content review will help on the exams in nursing school as well. I wish I had used this book to study for my exams in nursing school, would've saved a lot of time and stress. It would also cut down on study time after you graduate so you can take the exam quickly. Also, doing as many practice Qs as possible will also help. Good luck!

Passed the test on my first try using this book. As other reviewers have said, it stopped at the minimum questions for me too. After I took the test, I realized what the LPN and probably what the RN looks to test in a good nurse : prioritization, medication, side effects, and recognizing what's happening to your patient and what you should do as a result. That realization alone am sure will help me pass the RN-NCLEX in January.

Amazing NCLEX-PN study guide! Make sure to utilize the access code on the inside of the cover, best thing ever! Im proud to share that I did the least amount of questions (85) with 3 hours to spare! My license was active the same afternoon in WA state! This is the best one by far. I perused through Kaplan and returned it the next day, Saunder’s is truly the best!

Their questions were so much harder than the Nclex which prepared me very well. I did 100 questions a day I did like 200/400 of their select all that apply. I did this with a nclex pn blue print and passed with minimum questions.

Just took my boards and pass with only 85 questions... All I use to study was this book, and its online questions... Even though most of question where select all that apply and drugs, this book taught me alot on process of eliminating.. Also I highly suggest no one to try to memorize any drugs its almost impossible because you never no what drug you will be giving, but do know the ending of your drugs such as Dine, Ole, and what not and what category they go under...

I passed my NCLEX-PN in one go. I suggest people who are in the program buy it and make notes on the book. The most helpful part was the practice exams they come with. Some of the questions were on the test (just words slightly changed).

I passed my NCLEX-PN In 75 questions. Between this book and Hurst Review! I didn't feel scared or lost for a second while taking that exam. I bought this and started reading it about 6 months into nursing school, I also used it to study for tests in nursing school and for my exit Hesi which I scored an 1197 on . That equaled a 97% chance of passing NCLEX first try! And it was correct?

My son (6 years old) is very into scary things (movies, video games, etc) and these books provide the right amount of mystery to keep him interested without giving him bad dreams. The series follows 4 kids through their elementary school which was built by the Eerie family. One of the Eerie family members, though, "haunts" the school by making it come to life. The kids, led by the hall monitor, are left to battle the elements of the school, which they do through researching the town and its history, the Eerie family, and the school itself. Each book brings a new surprise (a kid-eating locker, a frozen school, etc.) that pushes the kids to look for new clues. My son loves guessing what the clues mean and what will happen next, positing what he would do in each situation.We get the new book in the series whenever it comes out, and we have yet to be disappointed.

My 8 year old daughter loves these books. Most of the times she views reading as a chore, so finding a series of books that she finds fun and wants to read without being forced is amazing!

This is a great book series, my daughter can't put them down once she starts reading them! We have the rest of the series and she likes going back through them and re-reading them. Also, for school she can get AR points for taking the test on what she remembered from the books. Well worth the money!

THESE ARE AMAZING. ALL OF THEM. My daughter hates reading. She is 9. I got her these and she has already read 3 of them in 2 weeks. She has to test on books she reads for points and got 10 put of 10 on all test.This is a must have if you are struggling with your child wanting to read. My daughter has mutated. She hurries to get ready in the morning just to read these.

My 2nd grader is hooked to the Eerie Elementary School series. We had to pre-order this book because she couldn't wait for it to come out. Well, it didn't disappoint. We can't wait for the next one to come out.

My boys love this book series and many of the other branches book series. I have also introduced this to our schools library and many of the kids really like this series as well.

I got this for my wife who is a teacher. She has found this to be a good series to get kids to start reading.

My granddaughter and I are really enjoying this set of books!! It makes you feel different emotions. Great book!!

Bought several of these types of books for my adult daughter who has been going through a lot in her life. I'm very impressed by what the book covers. It extensively covers the technologies that digital cameras use. Everything from the sensor to the lens, and then discusses things like color spaces, sampling rates, aspect ratios etc. The the last half of the book is devoted to camera setup, workflows, and displays (monitors) and recorders. There's also mini sections on specific info about many of the pro/prosumer cameras (as of ~2013).There's certainly some good (even great) info in this book. I especially enjoyed the section on lenses and camera setup/operation. What I really didn't like was the first half of the book, for me it was painful to slog through that info because of how it was presented, and that was information that I was actually very interested in. For me though, and let me preface this by saying that I have an engineering degree and have had lots of college level math and physics, I would have much preferred much fewer equations and graphs and charts and theorems, and history., and much more qualitative discussion about achieving various results, anecdotes about in-the-field situations etc. But judging by the other reviews, I may be in the minority with that opinion, which is fine.

Much like Alexis Van Hurkman's book, Color Correction Handbook: Professional Techniques for Video and Cinema (2nd Edition) (Digital Video & Audio Editing Courses) has become the defacto standard in reference for digital color grading, I predict this book will become the defacto standard for Cinematographers seeking in-depth information on the fundamentals behind digital cinema image capture. David Stump takes great pains to delve into all aspects of how digital sensors work, the math behind image capture, the complexities of various imaging color spaces, current digital camera systems and a plethora of other issues germane to the subject, but conveys it in a easy-going, informative manner. I especially appreciate how he reaches back into the History of Cinema Production to tie the current technology to the past; showing that while there are revolutionary aspects to digital production, it in the end is a continuation of the process of moving image production evolution, and is yet another tool in the arsenal for moving image production, rather an an island onto itself. While targeted specifically at cinematographers, this book should not be overlooked by any member of the image production chain. The comprehensive information contained within is valuable to anyone who wishes to understand digital image production from start to finish and should be on the shelf of any DIT, Editor, Colorist or person with a need to understand the underlying mechanisms that are used to create a digital moving image. Highly recommended.

More a collection of notes than a 'book', by which we usually mean some kind of unified presentation of information in a digestible format. There is use and value here, but I'm really not sure who the audience is. If you're trying to learn and get better, this is little more than a reference work, and you'll have to do a major amount of research elsewhere to understand any of it. Lots of space taken up with random stuff with captions like "More math!" and no explanation of that math, or what it might be for, much less how to use it. If you are already an expert, and a working cinematographer, again I'm not sure you need this. All leading to my conclusion that this book really doesn't serve anyone well. Be prepared to put in a lot of study, and realize that much of this content has no value, and what does is better explained in any number of (often free) other locations.

Lot's of detailed reference material. Very good to have in a technical library.

I met David Stump at the "Global Cinematography Institute" this year, 2015, he teaches a class there, great instructor! If you cannot take the class with him, buy the book, it's excellent and very comprehensive.

A very useful book with all kinds of good information about how our bodies change due to lifestyle and age, plus many, many stretching exercises that can counter-act those changes to benefit our golf games and life in general. Good photos and instructions. Exercises are tied to specific swing faults or grouped in various programs. It's helping already!One criticism: the programs are individual stretches with no separate instructions. Until you know them, you have to look each one up from all over the book. The page numbers are tiny white numbers in black circles; very hard to read and search on. Making cheat sheets.

One of my favorite golf books of any type. Roger Fredericks is the real deal. He knows the game of golf. He knows the body and how it works, and how many people can teach golf and say that so much depends on swinging into difficult positions. The tour pros and great golfers ypu know can do what is necessary to hit the ball well. You can't. Why not? You are not wired like pros. They are gifted and have bodies that respond to what their minds tell it. If you work regularly on Roger's exercise program, you will get closer to achieving a pro-like swing. If you avoid these exercises, you will NEVER hit a ball the way a pro does. It won't happen. Get flexible; get sound fundamentals, all in this book by an honest teacher. One of the best out there. A long life to Roger Fredericks! And to the appeal of his great book that is decades ahead of its time.

This book has been a game changer for me. Although the flexibility stretches take time to take effect, after 5 months of daily stretching per Mr. Frederick’s instruction, I’m hitting the ball like never before. My iron shots are straight, long and consistent, and the confidence I now have with my golf game is at an all time high. I now feel so much more balance over the ball during my entire swing. I feel as though I have control over the game versus the other way around. His DVD program is also outstanding. I highly recommend his Secrets to Golf Swing Flexibility DVD. The DVD’s Gold Tee program is top notch. Not only will it improve your golf game, but it will take away the aches and pains we all experience as we age. My favorite stretch is a static stretch call the Sitting Wall. I do it every day for 5 minutes and my posture and overall well being has improved immensely. My sincere thanks to Mr. Fredericks for his extensive knowledge and research in helping to improve the overall health of not only golfers but anyone who is looking to improve their quality of life.

I am a typical amateur golfer. I have spent a fortune looking for the answer, the secret, that one-piece of special information that could get me over the hump! After reading this crazy god book, I KNOW this is it! There is so much real-life wisdom in this book I am confident the change in my game will be life-altering! Finally!

I have been plagued by lack of flexibility all my life. Roger Fredericks went through wrist and hip surgery and stretching changed his life. This book is slowly changing mine. The flexibility programs will change the way you walk and sit and exercise whether you are a golfer or not.I have always attempted to do stretching with little improvement. This book explains and instructs stretching in a way that is easy to understand and follow. It teaches the importance of breathing while stretching and the order of which stretch exercises to follow. There are also specific stretches to combat common faults made by many golfers both young and old. I really like how Roger gets into the reasons behind stretching and why specific stretches will improve a golf swing. The book dispels many myths of stretching and flexibility as well.I highly recommend this book to anyone looking to improve their golf swing or even just their posture and everyday well-being.

I'm an amateur player with a low single digit index who didn't discover the sport of golf until his mid-forties. I became a golf fitness enthusiast 15 years. I'm glad I finally got around to reading this book. In the field of golf fitness you often hear the author's name mentioned. If you love to play golf well, then read this book. Overall I can't think of another one I've read on golf fitness that tops it. Getting fit with functional exercises & golf fitness ones have improved not only how I play but also my enjoyment of playing golf.

Excellent book- I’ve been golfing since I was 13 and am always looking for different tips and techniques. The author is an excellent writer and has a knack for breaking down the swing- special quality when presenting in book format. I read this on the train and can’t wait to get home to try one of his pointers in my yard. Love the book.
